A: No. Unlike traditional fluid-based fog machines or hazers, CO2 cannons produce a clean, cryogenic gas that evaporates instantly into the air. It leaves no smoke residue and dissipates too quickly to trigger standard optical smoke detectors.
Q: Does the machine need time to warm up?
A: No warm-up time is required! Because the FX-X5 operates purely on the mechanical release of highly pressurized CO2 gas, it is ready to fire the instant you power it on and trigger your DMX console.
Q: What happens if I use a standard CO2 tank instead of a Liquid-Siphon tank?
A: A standard CO2 tank (like the ones used for draft beer) draws gas from the top of the cylinder. If you use one, the cannon will only blow invisible, pressurized air. A Liquid-Siphon (dip-tube) tank draws the liquid CO2 from the bottom, which is required to create the massive white frost plumes.
Q: Is the flight case included in the base price?
