Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How many units can I link together?
A: Thanks to the integrated Power In/Out and DMX In/Out ports, you can link up to 8-10 units on a single standard 15A power circuit. The physical snap-together mechanism allows them to form one continuous light bar for seamless effects.
Q: Can I display specific text or patterns?
A: Yes! The bar comes pre-programmed with 254 dynamic shows, which include scrolling alphanumeric characters, geometric patterns, and complex color waves. These can be selected manually or controlled via DMX.
Q: Is this light suitable for outdoor use?
A: This unit is rated IP20, meaning it is designed for indoor professional environments like stages, clubs, and studios. For outdoor events, it should be used in a dry, covered area.
Q: What is DMX/RDM compatibility?
A: DMX allows you to control the light using a lighting console. RDM (Remote Device Management) allows the console to “talk back” to the light, letting you change the DMX address remotely without needing to climb up to the fixture..
